2 windsurfers will attempt to cross the Bering Straight in 2012

Two Frenchmen will attempt to break the record for crossing the Bering Straight crossing from Alaska to Siberia. Arnaud De Rosnay’s attempt in 1979 set a record time of 8 hours. Michel Oualle and Alain Gabet are both with experienced in long-distance and crossings. They are working to raise funds and have already seen support with equipment from NeilPryde, NPX and JPAustralia.
