Hey, hope everyone is enjoying reading the stories articles, and enjoying the pictures and videos.  I’m having a tough time keeping up with all the awesome stuff that on the internet related to windsurfing.  But I’m doing my best!  If you think you’d like to contribute get in touch with me through the comments section on this article, and Ill set you up!

WindsurfPress is in its early stages, here is a look at what I have planned:

Dahab Festival, Kicking off this Weekend!

The Dahab Festival is about to kickoff on April 14th and run until the 20th.   Last year’s inaugaral Dahab Festival was a huge success and 2012 is set to be bigger and better.   Catered towards windsurfers, kitesurfers, scuba divers and many more, the week-long event has something for everybody

Orange Speed Crossing Day 2

A recap of April 8th at the Orange Speed Crossing.  The event is taking place in Leucate, La Franqui located on the French Mediterranean. The speed crossing is part of the Mondial-du-Vent (World Wind) event taking plave from April 7th – 15th.

AWT Opening Party 2012

2012 PWA Bonaire Cancelled

Above is a Picture of last years winner Kiri Thode at the 2011 Bonaire world cup.

The PWA was supposed to run from June 4-8th this year.  But it sounds like the PWA has pulled the plug on the event.  No details as to why yet, but we`ll keep you posted.

Technique – Mast Foot Position


Mast foot position is important to help trim the board in different conditions.  Personal preferences always play a role, but finding the optimal position is optimal for trim, fun on the water, and performance.

Meet Steve Bodner, USA 4

Boujmaa Guilloul injured


The Moroccan stylemaster Boujmaa Guilloul got injured a few days ago while doing a bottom turn at Hookipa on Maui. It is quite a bad timing for him, as today is the start of the Starboard photoshoot for 2013 equipment on Maui and Boujmaa has to stay out of the water for at least 4 more weeks.
