Iballa Moreno is one of the best female wavesailors, and can give some of the men a run for there money. She took last years PWA World Title, and was second this year , only to her sister Daida.

Uk sailor Graham Woods is getting the best of his move Down Under.
“The start of spring and like every wave nut in Western Australia you make a journey north to find wind and waves. This is some footage from a couple of average days when we could be bothered to film.”
On the 22nd of October 2013 Ron Kleverlaan followed his team, in his windsurfing kit crossed the North Sea between the UK coastal town of Lowestoft to Bergen at Sea in the Netherlands., a journey of 195 km.

The sixth episode of the “AROUND” series by Sean O’Brien takes us to the Netherlands in central Europe and the new adopted home of 6x World Champion freestyler, Sarah-Quita Offringa from Aruba.
Sarah-Quita has been living in Holland for three years now and in this video see our Dream Team rider at home in the city of Utrecht and surrounds, full of canals, boats, windmills and wooden shoes!
Holland has produced a number of windsurfing legends over the years and this year the PWA World Tour returned with the final freestyle event of the year taking place on the Brouwersdam, a perfect location for Sarah-Quita to win her 6th World Title.

In late June 2013, Max Matissek joined Philip Soltysiak on a Windsurfing Into the Unknown adventure on Vancouver Island, Canada. Joined by Phil’s younger brother Tom, they camped and searched for windsurfing spots few have ever heard of.
The two professional windsurfers and seasoned travelers have been to some of the best windsurfing destinations around the world, and it was now a chance for Canada’s West Coast to prove it’s worthiness as a destination for adventure windsurfers. The trip took the riders from Jordan River and Gordon’s Beach, across to Port Renfrew, into Lake Cowichan and Nitinat Lake, to Port Alberni and finishing off on the Pacific coast in Tofino. All the while the team camped in the island’s Pacific temperate rain forest, cooking and keeping warm with a campfire, and trying to keep wildlife away from their food.
The full adventure will be released online, free to watch, at the end of November.
Congratulations to both Levi Siver and Marcilio ‘Brawzinho’ Browne. Levi won the Aloha Classic, and Marcilio Browne won the PWA World Title. Also a big shout out to Bernd who battled Levi in the final and delivered a thrilling display of wave riding and layed it all on the line. Check it out for yourself in the video.

“It’s my childhood dream, it’s what I’ve been working towards for my whole life and it’s finally come true, it’s unbelievable. It’s been a long week and as much as you try to think about it, it’s always there in the back of your mind, and now that it’s actually over and it’s done, it’s not a load off my back but I can relax. The last few days have been very tense for me.”

Day 8: Mussolini and Browne still in the hunt for a World Title
A slower than expected start at Ho’okipa Beach Park on day eight of the JP Aloha Classic – presented by Nalu Kai – soon turned into a pulsating and extremely exciting day of sailing as the title race headed towards its climax. At the start of the day seven riders – Philip Köster (Starboard / NeilPryde / Maui Ultra Fins), Alex Mussolini (Tabou / Gaastra), Marcilio Browne (Goya Windsurfing / MFC), Victor Fernandez (Fanatic / North / MFC), Thomas Traversa (Tabou / Gaastra), Leon Jamaer (Fanatic / Hot Sails Maui) and Ricardo Campello (JP / NeilPryde / MFC) – were all still in contention for the world title, however, by the end of the day only two sailors were still standing – Browne and Mussolini. Tomorrow will now see a scintillating finale as Mussolini and Browne go head-to-head in the battle for the 2013 PWA Wave World Championship.
Today promises to be an extremely exciting day, with both the JP Aloha Classic Champion and PWA Wave World Champion set to be decided. The forecast for tomorrow promises excellent wind and yet more waves, which should result in an enthralling day of sailing with at least one sailor set to write their name in windsurfing history. Austrlian wavesailor Sean O’brien brings us a freeride clip off the coast from Down-under.
That feeling you get. The release, the redemption. Pack your bags for the next trip. Passports, wallet, chargers, boards. On a famous, yet relatively unknown island, full of wild creatures and surrounded by blissful reef; Sean O’Brien spent a winter month, exploring, riding, exploring some more. We filmed everything we did that month and this is our produce. In this original short by WeAreNeverLeaving, Sean takes us on a trip from Cairns to Green Island and some unexplored parts of Vlasoff Cay on the Arlington Reef. A tropical Australian paradise, which blooms in winter rather than summer; an escape from the cold when it’s needed most. Put your feet up and stereo loud.
