We’re seeing more and more action comming out of Japan, which is only to be expected as it’s an Island in The Pacific that created the word Tsunami. This latest video features a lot of local riders at the wave spot of Omaezaki. The riders are: Hiromi Satou, Ryouta Kamata, Makoto Higashiyama, Motoko Satou, Masahiro Motohashi, Yoshiaki Nagamatsu, Takuma Fujiwara, Norio Asano, Tomoo Ishihara, Hisataka Ishii, Takahumi Noguchi, Yoshitaka Ikeda and Shigeki Matsui.
In the fall of 2012, Windsurfing Into the Unknown explored around the famous windsurfing and tourist town of Jericoacoara, Brazil, to see what kind of windsurfing spots they can find. They created a 4 episode series showcasing good spots to windsurf that are accessible from Jericoacoara.
In this episode Windsurfing into the Unknow featuring wave sailing at “The Flag”, the main spot in Jeri. A great place to learn and improve your wave sailing, with a nice wind angle, sandy bottom, gentle waves, warm water and a great atmosphere.

France’s up-and-coming Maui-based star, Morgan Noireaux, published this clip showcasing his developing talent, shot over the last few months.

GlobalShots released this short and kick ass clip of the Neil Pryde Team jumping very close to the heli during there photoshoot in Maui last winter. Some of the riders are Jason Polakow, Kauli Seadi, Robby Swift, and Ricardo Campello.
This is a tribute to young Irish wave sailor Mikey Clancy, who sadly passed away much too early on January 6th. No wave was too big for him! Continent Seven put the tribute togeather.
German rider Moritz Mauch at only 16 years old is an incredible wavesailor. At the beginning of his windsurfing career his father who runs the Club Mistral in Bahia Feliz, taughtd him to focus on waveriding instead of jumping. Moritz can land perfect Takas, Aerials and much more. “Jumps, no thanks” is a clip about his style in waveriding.
Not so much a move but a sequence of moves, which always helps to impress. Check out Italian rider Federico Infantino, in Tenerife, who does a 1 handed backloop into another backloop.
Malta a small island located in the centre of the Mediterranean, between Sicily, Tunesia and Libya. Many great spots can be found around the island, which can produce good swell and winds, with down the line conditions. There are also quite a few flat water spots. Check out this awesome video from UK freestyle talent Jamie Drummond, he looks pretty good in the waves to us, he spent December in Malta. Exploring the island for his first time and had some great sessions at Ghalis, Melieha and Armier.

All of the footage was shot over 2011 and 2012 and put together by Sophia Regerbis from double4productions. The whole clip is deffinitley worth a watch and showcases a variety of spots, and awesome windsurfing talent in both Wave and Freestyle disciplines.

An early 1980’s Documentary about Windsurfer Fraser Black living the dream in Hawaii. Fraser Black originally from the UK was one of the first UK pro windsurfers.
This video was quite ground breaking as gave a glimpse of a windsurf pro’s life with professional footage showing board mounts and well produced shots.
Most of it is filmed in Oahu and Diamond Head.
