Greece saw a massive swell hit recently. The Great Boardriders Team were there to capture the down the line mast high wave action. The Great Boardriders team is made up of, Nikos Athanasiou, Manolis Vardakis, Kostas Kostopoulos, Floral and Michalis Farsaris.

Marcilio “Brawzinho” Browne is deffinitley one of the big names in modern wave riding. Check out this clip where he launches massive doubles, powers through his bottom turns and hits the lip hard. At the end of the clip watch some footage from Peahi, Jaws where he almost lands a massive backloop off the lip.
Italian Pro Mattia Pedrani brings us the 5th episode of his “Mediterranean Diet” series. This time he hits up Porto Pollo, Sardinia. The clip is composed of just 2 freestyle sessions, whiche he describes as “per gusty and the wind was switching around like crazy.”.
Sirgri is a small fishing village with the nearby windsurf centre “SigriSURF”. Sirgi just showed up on the radar after hosting a EFPT event this year, that drew some of the Worlds finest freestyle talent. The SigriSURF centre has produced this video highlighting the skills of some of these freestyle stars mixed scenic shots and clips of the surrounding area and town.
Club Vass instructor Tom Parrish headed to Brazil for the winter of 2012 with many other pros like Max Rowe, Oscar Carmichael, Arianne Aukes and more. Check out this clip that captures his action in Jericoacoara and around there.
Registration for the 13th annual Defi Wind is now open. The event see over one thousand competitors and is the World’s premier, and largest participation long-distance windsurfing event and festival. The event runs from May 9th to 12th 2012 in Gruissan, in the South of France.

There’s been a flood of videos from Brazil lately as everyone has been headed home and the season largely wraps up there. French freestyle Romain Pinocheau put this teaser together from his Brazilian winter trip, the full movie is coming soon.
Roberto Hofmann is a strong voice for windsurfing, teaching hundreds of new and upcoming talens each year, but also commenting to the hundreds of thousands of fans as he hits the road with the PWA every year. He competed on the Professional Windsurfing Tour between 1990 and 1995, so racings in his DNA, and in 2012 won several important races in Italy and the IFCA Slalom Worldchampionship in the G-Master category.

Hot Sails Maui continues to grow there team. and recently announced the signing of Irish ripper Katie McAnena to the international team. In the last year she’s been all over with appearances in the AWT, BWA, IWA and PWA tours.
