The incrible freestyle talent of Gollito watch his Air Flaka into Triple Flaka while training.
Every few Thursdays we liek to give you a bit of a retro clip. This week we have 60 minutes of action from 1986 at the WSMA World Cup, the ultimate event of its day.
The story is about Kevin “coming home” to his roots after having accomplished his goal of winning a world title.
Watch as Kevin Pritchard travels along the West Coast of North America from Baja up to Vancouver Island (although he scored no session on the Island). Everything started with the trips to the American Windsurfing Tour events and Kevin and Johannes from Maui Nerd Productions never had the intention to make a clip about these trips, but in the end and looking through the clips, they saw some beauty and decided to share the footage with us. “Some would call it a video or a movie: We say it’s more a slideshow of good memories, unique moments with unique friends, funny stupid things, stunning nature and some great sailing!” (MNP)
Enjoy, it’s one of our favorite movies lately!

News passes around the windsurfing community of another tragic death this month. Andy ‘Buzz’ Buchanan lost his battle with cancer on Tuesday 29th January. Andy Buchanan served as the PWA Press Officer from 2008 through till 2009 when he was first diagnosed with cancer at the age of 27. Andy remained very much one of the team and paid frequent visits to the crew at events over the following years.
Andy brought passion to windsurfing and his life as a whole which was obvious in his work. Never one to back away from a
challenge – never mind how ridiculous and never mind how small the chance of success – Andy brought entertainment to many through his writing and his own activities. – PWAWordlTour.com
Rest in Peach Andy Buchanan.
