It looks like a good battle is shaping up between Ricardo Campello and Philip Koster, these guys are pushing it!
Top rider Robby Swift has suffered a leg injury while training in Pozo for the upcoming PWA event. Yesterday afternoon Robby Swift broke his leg and ankle on a one footed back loop gone wrong, he is currently on his way back to the UK for surgery. With such a short circuit is will put the entire season in doubt. We wish him a speedy recovery and hope to see him back on the water soon.

Weève brought you a few videos of Philip Koster Training in Pozo, here’s a sweet one of another top competitor Victor Fernandez. The clip is a bit rough but it’s pure action, put togeather from over an hour of Mast Cam footage into just these two and a half minutes of pure action. Huge jumps, forwards loops, and big hits, enjoy!

The wave pro’s are getting ready for the first content of the 2013 Season in Gran Canaria, and there is no doubt that reigning World Champion Philip Koster is a favorite to win, and this video shows why. Over the last two days Philips been training at Pozo, Vargas and the semi-secret spot, La Baja. Watch as he throws flawless backloops, cheese rolls, double backloops and rumor has it he’s been working on Boujmaa Guilloul’s ‘Foubackward’ a cheese roll into a backloop.

it’s still early days before the comp so not too many riders are here yet but we still have plenty of action for you.
Planning doubles from Koster, Blood from Adam Lewis, mystery crash from Alex Mussolini, Victor floaty jumps… and some nugget huggers of course!!Early days yet and the forecast is looking windy so stay tuned for some full power crashing in the coming weeks!

German rider Oli Maier put together some rough clips from his last trip to Gran Canaria, including Vargas and Pozo. Unfortunately waves were small but they still had fun. Check it out.
Check out this video with two young Polish riders. Nikodem Merlak (Pol 64) and Przemek Krzycki (Pol-194) spent all of July in Pozo and scored epic conditions.
“Last year we spent a whole July in Pozo and only four days were without wind. After this training we have taken part in PWA KIA Cold Hawaii World Cup in Klitmoller first time. First part of movie was captured in Pozo Iziquierdo and second part in Vargas.” – The two riders
