Playa de El Cabezo in Tenerife is not the only place where you can windsurf! Playa de Las Americas is the largest touristic resort in Tenerife, and one of the most popular party destinations in the Canary Islands. It is a famous surfing spot with north west swells hitting the coast almost every day.
Once in a while the north west wind creates a good windsurfing conditions, while in the same time in El Medano there is no wind at all. In this short video Alex Mussolini (3rd in PWA last year) proves that he is an universal sailor and that he has the same smooth style in this difficult starboard tack side-onshore conditions.
