PWA Pozo World Cup – Day 3

Day three of the PWA Gran Canaria Wind and Waves Festival turned out to be another frustrating affair as the howling trade winds, which usually hammer Pozo throughout the summer months continued to desert the event in favor of uncharacteristically light winds. The sailors were eventually released at 4pm as conditions failed to develop.

Pascal Toselli in Tenerife

Another great clip from BJ Productions.  This one features Pascal Toselli (F 916) a 27 year old French rider and part of the Point-7 Black Team.  Last year he finished 15th in the PWA Slalom rankings.

Hard to Hide

Multiple Windsurfing Worldchampion Daida Moreno shares the last 12 months of her life. Last summer she got diagnosed with cancer, started a chemotherapy. She missed the event on Sylt, fought back, and began sailing just a few weeks before the event in Pozo, which she also organized!

We wish her a healthy recovery, and hope to see her continue to compete and help organize amazing PWA events!

IFCA Slalom World & European Championships Report 2012.

The  2012 IFCA Slalom World Championships for women and the European Championships for men 2012 are now concluded, it took place over the last several days in Roses, Catalyunya, Spain.. On the women’s side Karin Jaggi was able to defend her IFCA Wold Slalom Title. Matteo Iachino was also able to defend his lead on the last day and win IFCA Men European Slalom Championship.

Red Bull Storm Chase 2012 Registration Open

The Red Bull Storm Chase is back. This time it’s Global, with 3 gnarly storms, and 10 riders competing in the most insane windsurfing event ever! Registration for the 2012 Red Bull Storm Chase is open! Voting for the 10 favourite riders is from July 2nd and July 16th. From August 1st until November 30th the event is on!!
