Fransico Goya shares his experience in Peru, from the friendly people to the longest wave in the World. Pacasmayo located on the norther coast of Peru is known for it nostalgic beach feel, warm climate and being home to one of the longest waves in the World. Peruvian Wave is now open, and is the first dedicated travel agency for windsurfers wanting to experience this awesome wave. Peruvian Wave is also home to an Official Goya Test Center.

CAPETOWN ROCKZ!

A scenic clip from Cape Town, South Africa featuring Fabian Weber, Florian Selder and friends. The group welcomed in 2013 with warm and windy south easterlies almost everyday. Some of them made a safari, went skydiving, did a hiking trip to the Draken Mountains where they slept at 3000 m over sea level or went out for a lot of SUP surfing!

WITU Jeri Spotguide – Episode 4 – “Praia de Malhada”

The fourth and final episode of Jeri Spot guide frmm ‘Windsurfing into the Unknown’ is here. Michael Rossmeire, and Philip Soltsiak spet the fall of 2012 exploring the World Famous windsurfing spot f Jericoacoara, Brazil.

In this Episode we feature wave sailing at Praia de Malhada, a side-onshore wave spot just upwind of Club Ventos in Jericoacoara. The conditions are the best there at mid-tide. If it is your first time there make sure to check out the spot at low-tide so you are aware of where to watch out for rocks. The spot is not particularly dangerous, but it is also not a beginner spot.

CAPE TOWN SURFARI

Samuel Vaudry, Sylvain Bourlard, Jules Denel, Louis and Pierre-Antoine Dambricourt were in Capetown (South Africa) from early January to mid-February 2013 with the sole motto: fun! They always found it Day or Night, Cape Town is much more than a windsurfing destination. They managed to score many sessions at Cape point, Witsand and Haagkat.

FECAMP with Thomas Daumail

French wavesailor Thomas Daumail at the relatively unheard of spot Fecamp. Fecamp is located in the Upper Normandy region of France. Thomas scored 3 days in a row at th end of January, and had this to add “it had been a long time since we had seen the spot work well.” [Translated from French]

SIGRI – Lesvos, Greece

Sirgri is a small fishing village with the nearby windsurf centre “SigriSURF”. Sirgi just showed up on the radar after hosting a EFPT event this year, that drew some of the Worlds finest freestyle talent. The SigriSURF centre has produced this video highlighting the skills of some of these freestyle stars mixed scenic shots and clips of the surrounding area and town.

Russians Score World Class Waves in Chile
