Simmer Style and its history date back to the very foundation of hi-performance windsurfing on Maui in the beginning of the 80’s. Today, more than 30 years later, Simmer Style has become a truly complete company, offering everything you need to ride the Simmer Style way anywhere one can find wind. Top performing sail designs for every possible environment, superior masts and booms of the highest quality and performance, a wetsuit line-up that stands toe to toe with anything in the industry, super comfortable harnesses, innovative accessories, and last but not least, our newly launched board brand.
Even thou we have grown from a small sail loft on the North Shore of Maui to a international company the foundation of the brand is still the same, a selfless love of windsurfing. No hype, no big show, just go out there and hit the wind and waves as hard as you can and let the sailing do the talking.
That´s what we are all about.

I’m really excited about joining Simmer Team! It is a great bunch of people who know how to have a good laugh while pushing the performance on the water as well. I have really good memories of Simmer as I landed my first frontloops and pushloops on their sails a few years ago in Pozo. Also as soon as I jumped on my new 2013 Simmer Sails my backloops just clicked so I think we make a good match!:) I really like both Icons and Blacktips – they are light, maneuverable, really stable and most importantly for my style of sailing – pretty unbreakable! 🙂 It’s great to be back on the water and get the support despite my severe injury from last year. – Justyna

The Godzilla is a high performance light wind freerace / GPS board designed for the real world rider. The concept is basic: control = speed. Its available in 150L and made for sails from 7.0 – 11 m. This is the kind of board you need in your quiver to get out on those days when your friends are sitting on the beach.

The Simmer Freemove, simmer has taken some extreme concepts and combined them to create an extremely all-round and versatile board. The rocker is a super fast freeride version of the low drag curves that we developed for their Fly Quad and Freewave boards. Combining the thin deck shape with the boxy rails, the board delivers excellent acceleration and high top-end speed, while still maintaining control and balance. The performance-oriented rocker and rails are combined with a versatile, wide and curvy outline. Together with the carefully constructed v flow a good degree of lift is provided allowing for larger sails and heavier riders. Other features are easy jibing all though the speed range.

The Blacktip is an ultra light, soft and compact outline four batten wave sail, designed for ideal performance with multi-fin boards. Its low aspect ratio keeps the power where it easily can be controlled and two kevlar stretch control tendons secure the profile stability. Equipped with large panels of 2 MIL Q-ply for super light and smooth handling. Designed and developed by Tomas Persson in close collaboration with Klaas Voget, the 2013 Blacktip presents the best drive and maneuverability in our wave sail range. – Simmer
